This tooled ammo. belt has 70 loops. One wide loop and one narrow loop at the bottom. The loops are aligned for a vertical drop with the bullet tip in the narrow loop. 4 in. wide X 49 in. overall length. The loops are made for a long cartridge, without a bottleneck, and likely a spear point tip. Likely a Winchester, Sharps, or Springfield bullet of the 1890's. The edge of the belt is tooled semi-circle stamped and finely machine stitched. No maker's mark found. The closure is a series of metal eyelets where a leather or fabric lace would be woven like lacing a shoe to conform to the torso. Beautifully made, in very good condition. [
