Location: Devil's Gate and Chinatown Mining Districts. The Chinatown Mining District is a rare find. 25c Warehouse revenue stamp. Underground mining vignette of miners and ore cart by Loomis. Printer was Towne & Bacon of San Francisco. Condition Good: heavily wrinkled, bent corners, cut roughly at bottom. Wardle was a true 49er in California and 59er in Nevada. He was a staunch Unionist and helped eliminated outward signs of the Secessionists on the Comstock.
