This extremely rare postal cover was sent from the Andersonville, Ga prison. It has the approval of Cpt. Henry Wirz with his mark top center: "Exd HW". It has both Union and Confederate postage stamps. It is dated August 25, 1964 Old Point, Va. Left edge "From a Prisoner of War". The flap is missing, restored. 3 in. X 5.5 in.
