This three page legal document was solicited post-war by the state of New York. The paper requests information as to the treatment while a POW at Andersonville Prison. Completed by Donain Richards of the 140th Regt. New York State Volunteers. He was captured during the battle of the Wilderness in 1864. He describes the loss of about 90 men per day. Light ink but still readable. The document is folded and still solid. Very good condition. [Andersonville] [Georgia] [] [] []
