An antique oak recliner found in Dayton. It has been in the same family for over fifty years. No maker shown. Lion heads on the ends of the arm restss, with claw feet on wooden rollers. Gingerbread on front lower panels. The padding is modern made by an Osage Indian in Albuquerque. The original padding was stuffed with straw. 32" deep front to back, 40" tall. Arm restss are 4.75" wide at their widest. Wrought iron stops (4) for the copper recliner bar, classic mid to late nineteenth century American.
