Here is a very fine item, of Early Americana. It Is a washing wringer made by " The American Wringer Company" . The bearings for this unit were made by The Banner Company. It is 45 1/2" tall x 13 1/2" wide , with fold out, footed 20" drying racks on each end . Outstanding Item !! Perfect working order, as well !! Embossed on the side is : Patented 1901/ " This wringer has steel ball bearings. Same as in high grade bicycles. Oil the bearings before and after use ". And, loosen top screws when the wringer is not in use . On the other side is embossed: Banner / Ball Bearing / Folding Bench / Wringer. Extra High Grade Warranted / Trade / ( Motif: Horse Shoe Mark ).// The American Wringer Company was an off-shoot of the Buckley Newhall Company. Very fine, extremely rare item.
