Standard Bottling Works was founded in 1900 by Peter Orella, aka the bottler for Anheuser-Busch of Silverton, Colorado, USA.

THE STANDARD/BOTTLING/WORKS/PETER ORELLA/PROPRIETOR. Aqua and measures 6 3/4 inches tall, similar in height to Preble's s289, but its base is UNMARKED, which is similar to Preble's s288. NOTE THE SPELLING ON THIS BOTTLE IS CORRECT FOR THE WORD BOTTLING. As opposed to Preble's statement in Impressed In Time Colorado Beverage, Bottles, Jugs & Etc. 1859-1915. Reverse marked 33'02 above base. Fantastic bottle--displays nicely! A good addition to any collection. Very minor barely noticeable nicks at lip. Minimal case wear at base. Nice clarity at present, but would improve with a cleaning.
