This is a signed bank note by Archibald Gracie IV dated May 8, 1906. Returning home to the United States, Gracie boards the RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage in 1912. He was awakened by a jolt and went on deck to discover a chunk of ice on-board and the ship listing. One of the few survivors of the Titanic sinking where he helped others to safety.
