Gray's Peak Route. Pass No. A1949, issued for 1907 to H.D. Harvey & wife, (C.S. & C.C.D. Railway). Signed by Edward J. Wilcox as president. Printed on green/blue cardstock. Countersigned by C.A. Johnson. Minor wear. This railroad operated 1906-1918 and ran from Silver Plume to Waldorf (now a ghost town) and then to the summit of Mt. McClellan. While Wilcox wanted it to serve his silver mining operations, he also realized the tourism opportunities for those wanting to reach the summit of Mt. McClellan (and nearby Gray's Peak).
