Three vintage photographs of Arizona Native American women interest. Cabinet card inscribed “Pimoles Squaws” on obverse, Buehman & Hartwell, Tucson, A.T. reverse, with inscription: “Miss Minnie Bohm, I have (illegible)…” “I see this is a note Father Bohm left for Minnie”. The photo is of two Pima(?) women, one wearing an apparent peace medal. Good to very good. In an amazing coincidence of another lot I worked on, Charles Bohm was a photographer in Denver, c 1880-on. His daughter, Minnie, lived with him for years, as the mother apparently passed away at birth. Did Bohm travel to Tucson and visit Buehman, bringing home this photo to his daughter Minnie?

Cabinet card of two baby Indians in baby baskets. Non inscription. On reverse is stamp of photographer A. F. Randall, Photographer (no city designation). The image is very fine, the card fine. C1885.

Stereo view, “Arizona Scenes”, Buehman & Co., Tucson A. T. no inscription on reverse. Fine. Single baby in baby basket.
