Lot of 3 different. 1) Morenci Southern Railway Company. Pass issued for 1915 to WS Dawson of El Paso & Southwestern System. Preprinted signature of the vice president. Countersigned by PM Ripley. Mining railroad built in 1901 by the Detroit Copper Mining Co., a subsidiary of Phelps Dodge Corporation. From the mines at Morenci to Guthrie, 1901-1922. 2) Arizona & Swansea Railroad. Pass issued for 1929 to the assistant to the president. Signed by president Souden. This 21 mile line operated from Bouse to Swansea, beginning in 1908. Swansea served as a mining town as well as a location for processing and smelting the copper ore taken from the nearby mines. 3) Arizona Southern Railroad. Pass issued in 1932 to JM Davis, president of the Delaware, Lackawanna, & Western Railroad. Signed by the president. Red Rock, Ariz., on the Southern Pacific Company, in a southwesterly direction to Silverbell, Ariz., where the mines of the Imperial Copper Company were located.
