The person writing, Leon, is staying with a gentleman who has a controlling interest in the mines.This is in an official U. S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service cover. There is a rarer Helvetia 1915 CDS postmark. Letter is mostly his plans and wanting to visit his girl! 2) La Fortuna Mining Company cover and letterhead. The letter is from John Doan and is commending Captain P. P. Parker's appointment as Speaker of the House. Please fight Senator Jones of Arkansas for his un-Democratic position on opposing the policy of national irrigation. We need the San Carlos Reservoir!
