1874 Diary by day, perhaps 25% filled out in tiny pencil writing. Heavy emphasis on Church and the bible, but also on relationships. Mentions Philly, Ogdensburg (NJ) and other places. names not found. Blue paper token in the back for "Wagner's Green House", of no relation to the current company of the same name, which only goes back to about 1900, and may have taken its name from this place. Of special interest is the entry on Aug 30, 1874, where the writer said: "After dinner took a walk with F & H back and up the hills - found my first arrowhead..." This is an interesting statement showing the American fascination with finding arrowheads.
