This shadow-box contains 6 uniform buttons, an early type of pin-back dog tag #S24106, and the crossed muskets cap emblem of the 3rd squadron of the 13 Regiment stationed at Columbus, New Mexico on March 9, 1916. The early morning raid by Poncho Villa resulted in an international incident where ten American citizens lost their lives and the 3rd squadron pursued Villa well into Mexican territory.
