Framed advertisement for Henry Webber, Boots, Shoes, and Rubbers, Aspen, Colorado. Text at the bottom reads, "All Goods Marked in Plain Figures. A child can buy as cheap as a man." In addition to being a shoe merchant, Henry Webber grew wealthy through his mining investments. He also served as the mayor of Aspen for one term. His house, called Pioneer Park today, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The advertisement itself is approx. 7.25 x 13.5 inches. Overall size of the frame is about 10.25 x 18.25. Good condition.
