# 453 for 100 shares to NH Lyon Jr. signed by J Sewell and Preston Hodges. Dateline New York 1866. 25c Power of Att'y revenue stamp. Not cancelled. Two mining vignettes and one Native American vignette. Pinter Latimer Bros. & Seymour. Tears and discoloration along borders. This has the look of a post-territorial stock. But an add in the Daily Alta California on June 19, 1864 proves it is territorial. The trustees are mention and include Preston H Hodges and list the secretary as JN Sewell.
