Both in Roman-type clothes. Inc. IN. Auburn was a brand name of American automobiles produced from 1900 through 1937 founded by Frank and Morris Eckhart in Auburn, IN. It was preceded by Eckhart Carriage Company. It ended in bankruptcy in 1937. Even with styling and engineering changes it failed because the vehicles were too expensive for the Depression-era market.
