1) Ocean Sunset, oil on 11" x 14" canvas in beautiful ornate 22" x 19" vintage frame. Autograph at lower left is illegible. Brilliant yellow from sun's last light illuminating darkening blue of ocean is striking and the silvery paint on the wood frame compliments the artist's use of light and the silvery sky. 2) Arrangement of Flowers, oil on 12" x 16" canvas in 15" x 19" white-washed vintage wood frame. Autograph at lower right "Kendall". Gallery sticker on reverse names artist Connie Kendall. We found an oil painter named C. Kendall in one reputable fine-art database but no further information was researched. Nice use of pastel color shades in this piece. Background, highlights and frame compliment the work and show an eye for aesthetics and skill with presentation. Nice, happy, light, pretty piece of art to inspire a pleasant atmosphere. 3) Beautifully framed and matted lithograph on paper, of painting titled "Canal with Roses" by Martin Roberts. Autographed on lower right on matting M. Roberts. Overall size 22" x 18". Wood frame is simple, but well made, stained a dark cherry that brings out the colors in the lithograph. Very attractive piece. Martin Roberts began his artistic career as a boy with a brownie box camera. Today, he is one of the most collected and “owned” artists in the country, with his works in such spectacular settings as the Venetian and Bellagio Resorts, the Vatican or in simple stores of main streets across America.
