Message from HK Shaw to TR Hofer re: BF Shaw. 2) 1909 BF Shaw receipt to Mrs. Desmond for prescriptions. 3) Pioneer Drug Store, BF Shaw, billhead, 1912. Billed to Best & Belcher MC for prescriptions and medical supplies. Advertises himself as an agent for Victor Talking Machines, Waterman's Fountain Pens, and Rexall Remedies. Attached to mining company voucher. 4) Two Storey County vouchers to BF Shaw (1911) and the Pioneer Drug Store (1912). 5) Alta Silver MC stock, 1912, signed by BF Shaw as vice president. 6) 1925 Prohibition prescription form for the Pioneer Drug Store. 7) 1913 postcard of winter scene in VC, photo taken by BF Shaw. Ben Franklin Shaw was born in Reno in 1878. He worked for VC druggist Lernhart and bought Lernhart's Pioneer Drug Store in 1897. He was involved in mining post-1900. He sold the drug store in 1923.
