Lot of 18. Fabulous group of postcards from the famous early Reno clubs. 1) Bank Club lot. Three RPPC interiors. Two show the same view, both unused. The third is the mirror image of the other two, with a Reno postmark in 1940. Photo shows men and women in front of craps and roulette tables. 2) Three Bank Club linen postcards with three different images. One of the cards is the same view as the three RPPCs. The other two linens show two different roulette scenes and are copyright Frasher's Foto. All three unused. 3) Bank Club playing card calendar c.1945 with drawing of nude woman on card front. 4) Nevada Club chrome card showing gaming interior scene. Unused. 5) Three Cal-Neva postcards. Duplicate of a nighttime exterior shot of the club. Both unused. Third card is chrome exterior daytime scene. Postmarked in Reno 1950. 6) Rare RPPC interior of the Monte Carlo in Reno showing men and women standing in gaming room. Unused. The Monte Carlo opened in June 1931 and closed later that year in December. It was advertised as "Reno's Casino Deluxe for ladies and gentlemen." 7) Six chrome postcards for Harold's Club. One is nighttime exterior shot that shows "Biggest Little City" sign and cars lined up in front of casinos. Triplicate of interior roulette scene. Two are distributed by Sierra News Co., the third for W.C. Spangler News Agency. This last card also has a 1-cent George Washington stamp, but no writing or postmark. Fifth chrome card is of interior view of slot machines and wall covered with guns. Unused. Sixth card is interior view of Fort Smith in Harold's Club; slot machines and totem pole.
