Lot of three colorful felt banners, souvenirs from California expositions, c1936-1940.

Two banners from the Golden Gate International Exposition (GGIE), held at San Francisco's Treasure Island, are dated closing day, 1940 and undated. The exposition, which ran from 1939-40, was a World's Fair celebrating, among other things, the city's two newly built bridges, the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. Third and largest banner is from America's Exposition, dated 1936, part of the California-Pacific International Exposition, held in San Diego in 1935-36.
