This Paiute Seed Bottle incorporates a sunburned willow pattern at about 2 ½” below the neck and circles the bottle. The neck also has a diagonal pattern of sunburned willow. It has a slightly rounded base at 2 ½” and stands about 7 ½ inches tall. Although a seed bottle, these pieces were often used as a personal food storage bottle that could be filled with dried meats, berries or nuts to accommodate a hunter that might be out on a hunt for a few days. The piece is in great condition and is from about the mid 1920’s. From Mina-Hawthorne Benton Regions of Nevada.
