This collection of necklaces numbers over 20 all in the 13 to 15-inch-long range. None of these necklaces appear to be commercially made. Some may be significant artifacts. One necklace is made from beads dug up in the town of Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island off the coast of Alaska. The clasp is late manufacture but the beads themselves are handmade with loss of color to age. Two other necklaces are open ended and hang from the neck; one is with a pair of leather beaded baby shoes and the other with a white bone seal and of beaded drop ornaments. There is also a bone art of two salmon signed by "D. Pushruk". Several items then have an Alaska connection. There are two French white heart bead necklaces; one bright orange and the other smaller orange pony beads. There are four necklaces with Russian cobalt seed beads that may actually be historic trade items. A bone necklace of camels is about 12 inches with a bone barrel clasp fitting. One Venice chevron bead necklace is at 13 inches; A puka shell necklace with small shells at a length of 6.5 inches; One elk antler base belt buckle; one necklace of east India origin and two bangle bracelets. Please see the photos for details as there may be significant finds.
