Beaded buckskin pipe bag, 24 inches long plus 17 inches of buckskin fringe. Top 18 inches of the bag is only beaded on the top edge, then it is bare buckskin. The lower six inches of the bag is covered with a lazy-stitched, 12/0, bead design with a white background and dark green, greasy yellow, and turquoise beads, a different pattern on each side. Attached to that end of the bag are eight inches of red, yellow, and grey porcupine quills wrapped around leather fringe tassels, and finally there are nine more inches of unornamented leather fringe. Possibly Sioux. Total dimensions are 41 x 6 inches. Excellent condition with little wear and tear.
