Lot of two. Prior to 1890 the area representing the panhandle of Oklahoma was unassigned to any territory and was known as the Neutral Strip or no man's land. There were few settlements located there, but Beaver (Beaver City) was the largest. Very few covers are known from the Neutral Strip before 1890. 1) Postmark Beaver, N. S. Ind. Ter. 1884. Repair upper left corner. 2) Beaver, Ind. T. 1888. Two Sc212 stamps. Covers in the Oklahoma/Indian Territory Postal History come with very nice presentation and history.
