Lot of 12 includes 11 stock certificates and one bond from Bethlehem Steel Company, incorporated in Delaware, issued from 1936 to 1969. All certificates but one specimen are canceled. All have large detailed vignettes. The bond, dated May, 1955, has Greek-inspired vignette with man, locomotive, ships and horse drawn wagon. It is signed by the President and Assistant Secretary and was canceled in 1969. 9.5" x 15". Pristine condition. All are either in pristine or excellent condition. Five certificates, issued from 1949-1969 and canceled from 1952-1969, have the same vignette as the bond. Other vignettes include: three with factory workers and machinery, two of them issued and canceled in 1969, one a specimen; and two with vignettes of a Greek-inspired man holding a hammer and leaning on steel, issued in 1936 and canceled in 1952. Many have signatures on back and some with revenue stamps. Certificates measure 12" x 8". One certificate, issued in 1929, with no vignette, measures 9" x 6".
