This bicave stone is one of the largest from the Bracken collection. The stone is 4.5 in. X 2 in. at 2 lbs. 9 oz. It was found near Oolagah, Ok. It is perfectly shaped and dished. Its color is a spectacular maroon red with green inclusions. These stones are sometimes called discoidals. The true usage of these stones has mystified archeologists but thought to be a gaming stone or hurling stone. They are found from the Canadian border to the Southern United States. This is an analogy from observing current Native Americans at play. (ref. Moorehead, 1983, pp. 163-4). Please see photos for details. Oklahoma
