Sam Jacobs, "Bijou" Saloon. 102 East Fifth Street. "Choicest Wines, Liquors and Cigars." Dateline Leadville, Colo. January 2nd, 1888. Billed to HH Tomkins for $58. Signed by Sam Jacobs. Blue and red print. 8.25 x 5.5" Folds. Sam Jacobs is mentioned often in newspaper articles of the period and appears to have been an active Leadville citizen in addition to being a well-known "saloonist."
