Blue Canyon City formed as a community for the workers. 1893 started as a good year for the mine, but then there were a serious of accidents (cave-in, runaway rail car, gas explosion) and the first seam ran out. It was shutdown until 1895 when it was purchased by new owners. (Prag Collection) City: Blue Canyon State: Washington, Date: Inventory# 39135
