Lot of two: one bronze, one sterling silver commemorating Bluenose the World Champion Fishing Schooner. Reverse reads: "Launched /Lunenburg Nova Scotia / March 26, 1921 / Wrecked / Off Haiti West Indies / January 28, 1946." 38 mm. Under the command of Angus Walters, Bluenose became a provincial icon for Nova Scotia and an important Canadian symbol in the 1930s, serving as a working vessel until she was wrecked in 1946. She was nicknamed the "Queen of the North Atlantic".
