What a line-up! This was lotted with a Bob Hope tour of the armed forces in mind. I've included autographed photos from members of his traveling band of performers. Included is a 5"x 7" Bob Hope (1903-2003), inscribed with his trademark, "Thanks For the Memory" phrase. Next is a 2.5"x 4" snapshot of Betty Grable (1916-1973), whose legs were insured for a $1M by the studio. Next is a 5"x 7" inscribed and signed photo from singer Frances Langford, a regular member of the troupe. Another couple of regulars of the Hope troupe available here, are Martha Rare (1916-1994) a comic actress, who starred with Hope in "The Big Broadcast of 1938." The next regular is Jerry Colonna, who also became known as The March Hare in Walt Disney's animated feature "Alice in Wonderland." this includes a letter signed by Colonna. A unique lot for Hollywood collectors. All signatures are clear. Please see photos for more detail and condition. State:California City:Hollywood Date:1940's Provenance: Salvatore Falcone Collection
