Lot of 32. Nice variety! 1) Bodie & Hawthorne Telephone & Telegraph Company stock certificate. Dateline Bodie, California, Oct. 17, 1892. No. 49, issued for 25 shares. Signed by Leggett as president and McCarthy as secretary. Not cancelled. Issued to R.A. Leale, whose name appears in searches as being the co-owner of the University Mine on Queen Bee Hill. 2) Six checks and receipts from the Bodie Bank, issued 1878-79. 3) Mono Mining Company of Nevada stock certificate. Office in Sweetwater, NV. No. 201, issued for 25 shares. Not cancelled. Mining vignettes. Folds. 4) Two unissued but cancelled Mono County Licenses printed by the Daily Free Press in Bodie: a sheep raising & grazing license and a merchants' license. 5) Twenty-two modern postcards of Bodie as a state park.
