Never seen by us before! 19 x 12" broadside advertising piece for Major Mono. This high bred trotting stallion will serve mares this season. Terms: $15.00. Major Mono was sired by Pacific, he by Niagara, he by Tom Wheeler, he by Tom Chowder, a son of old Pilot. Pilot has a record of 2:26 (see Wallace's Stud Book). Printed by the Mono Alpine Chronicle. The Mono Alpine Chronicle was published weekly in Bodie by R.M. & A.C. Folger from 1878-1879. It was renamed the Bodie Chronicle in 1879-1880.

Folded many times. Two tears at fold intersections. One long tear right bottom that has been taped (old). Still , nice looking and quite unique!
