Classic gold rush soda bottle from Sacramento. Boley was perhaps the largest soda water producer in Sacramento in the 1850s, as evidenced by the number of bottles found over the years. Within two decades, Owen Casey's Eagle Soda Works would take over that position. This is a classic deep blue iron pontil bottle with minimal surface wear, and has never been buffed. There is a small annealing split in the neck, barely visible. Union Glass Works, Philadelphia on the back. Displays beautifully.
