He was born in Kentucky and in 1838 traveled to Texas in search of adventure. He followed Capt. John Hays and other prominent Texas Rangers for two years. Webber was killed in a skirmish in the Filibuster War in 1856. 400 pp. 9" x 6". Front inner hinge detaching, slight upper/lower spine wear, minor bumping and page stains. 2. Fifty Texas Rarities.
