Includes a signed Halifax Tonopah Mining Company stock issued in 1920 with a nice clear signature. The other three certificates are all connected and controlled by Borax Smith. The Realty Syndicate owned valuable property in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The company also held a large interest in the Oakland Traction Company and the United Properties Company. All three of these certificates are in this group. In addition, the Oakland Traction Company stock is issued to Borax Smith and signed by vice president Dennis Searles.
