Broadside from 1869 advertising the play The Heir At Law written by George Coleman the Younger in 1797, at the Selwyn Theatre in Boston on Thursday February 11. Also advertised is the play A Bold Stroke For a Husband, written in 1783 by Hannah Cowley and "School" by T.W. Robertson. The theatre was owned by John Selwyn from 1867-1870 and was later changed to the Globe Theatre. The broadside measures 7"x 20" and is on very nice condition, save for a corner cut and a tiny fray at the bottom right. Please see photos for more details.
