This company kept a newspaper scrapbook of shipwrecks from around the world. As various ships were lost, the company gathered clippings about them. Surely with the hope of salvaging their treasures. Some of these wrecks we have not heard of. The SS Central America has quite a few clippings. Comes with a table of contents: Steamer Knoxville, British wreck Register, Steamer Fulton, Dighton Schooner, steamer Knickerbocker, account on the attempt to recover the money on the steamer Atlantic lost on Lake Erie, the Cathedral lost at Cape Horn with a list of lives lost, steamship Louisiana near Galveston, the Stephen Larrabee at Cuba, etc. State:Massachusetts City:Boston Date:1856-1858 ID#44037
