1) Glass Bottle Stoppers. This group has four glass bottle stoppers. The large clear one has a leaf and fern style; a smaller aqua stopper was made for Lea & Perrins (known for making Worcestershire Sauce in the UK). A small clear stopper is a perfume bottle stopper. One large stopper was made for a perfumed water bottle. It may have been customary of the period to use perfumed water in place of a bath when access to hot clean water may not have been available. Living aboard ship also has limitations. 2) Lead bottle cap without visible marking. Center indent and tapered bottom. About 1x1.5". 3) White metal bottle top, possibly used on a nursing bottle. Knurled pattern on top rim for gripping. Upper tip degraded. 5/8x1".

Provenance: SS Central America Collection
