Extremely rare. Few known. The Bowers Mansion is located on Franktown Road near New Washoe City. It was built in 1863 by Lemuel "Sandy" Bowers and his wife, Eilley Orrum Bowers, who were early Comstock millionaires. It cost $300,000 to build (in 1860s dollars!).
