# 749 for 100 shares to ED Barnes trustee. Signed by president MacDonald and secretary Barnes. Datelined New York 1881. Printed by David H Gildersleeve. Right side corner issues. Still nice and striking with red on white design. Not cancelled. According to Burchard in 1882, “The Bradshaw mine was a valuable mine of the Tombstone District. It is located in the western part of the district near the San Pedro and opened by a shaft to a depth of about 400 feet. It’s vein was 2 o 6 feet in width. The ore is rich in chloride and carries horn silver, from which assays ranging from $80 to $100 per ton have been had. A ten stamp mill has been erected on the property. It has produced some $50,000 of bullion since first opened.” Hard to find. Prag Collection
