A breechcloth is worn between the legs and tucked over a belt, so that the flaps fall down in front and behind. Sometimes it is also called a loincloth, skin clout, or just a flap. In most Native American tribes, men used to wear some form of breechcloth. The style was different from tribe to tribe. This piece is approx. 40" in length. It has beautiful bead work of flower in blue, red & green. The buckskin is smoked. This is an original. It has been worn & has 3 tears in cloth lining. Please Inspect. This has contour bead work.
