Lyle Hardin was a working cowboy at the Pyramid Lake TH Ranch and the Washoe Pines Guest Ranch. This folk art sculpture comes to us from the little girl who used to exercise the horses for him while he was working at the Washoe Pines Ranch in Washoe Valley. It was a popular spot for men and women to stay while waiting for their six week divorce. Hardin is noted for his paintings which have been exhibited in the Reno Little Theater, St. Mary's Church in Virginia City, First National Bank in Tuscon, and the New Mexico Alliance for the Arts. This bronze statue is 9.5" tall.
