Low certificate number 7! Inc. in Colorado. No. 7, issued for 500 shares to Mary Durant on March 29th, 1882. Signed by president Thos. Adams and secretary James Durant. Stamp cancelled and hole punched on left border. Black border and print, no vignette. 6.75 x 11.25"Folds, some discoloration on left side. The Brookland was located on Carbonate Hill between the Morning and Evening Star and Henriette (on the west), the Big Chief (on the south), and Monte Christo and Wolf Tone (on the east). Developments include a shaft 483 feet deep, about 70 feet above where they will make contact. Also have steam hoisting and pumping machinery.
