Lot of 2. Mines located at Eureka, Tintic Mining District. 1) Stock No. 116, issued for 500 shares to N.A. Brown on May 22nd, 1899 in SLC. Signed by vice-president CW Morse and secretary Hudson Smith. Not cancelled. Black border and print, gold seal, and eagle on beehive vignette. Pinholes, deep folds with some separation and soiling. 2) Prospectus. Softcover, 4pp. with small map. Heavy toning and deep folds with some separation. Half of back cover is missing.4.5 x 7.5" According to the prospectus, the company owned the Brooklyn Lode, 550 ft. x 1,400 ft. Development includes a 63 ft. deep shaft. A large cave was found at the bottom of the shaft, indicative of good ore (based on similar finds in the nearby paying mines). Ken Prag Collection
