Beautiful broadside that features yellow and pink roses and a bee. "Compliments of the Buffalo Brewing Company, Sacramento, Cal." The artist is identified as Paul de Longpre. Measures 14" x 19" in a 17" x 22" frame. Paul de Longpre (1855-1911) was a French painter known for his paintings of flowers. He came to the U.S. in 1890, gave his first exhibition (all floral subjects) in New York in 1896, and settled in Los Angeles in 1899. His home gained a lot of attention because of the acres of flowers around it. [Ref:Who Was Who in American Art, pg 159, 1985] Burt Collection
