These two Bufflehead decoys were made by J.P. Hand of New Jersey. These are working decoys male and female; hollowed-out to float and balance correctly on the water. Made from Atlantic white Cedar hand carved and painted to be realistic and shot over. J. P. Hand builds them the traditional way with all hand tools. He learned from the hunters that preceded him. Both are at 11 in. in length and light to handle. These are beautifully painted and never used; stamp signed with his traditional flat ballast weight on the bottom. J.P. Hand has been covered in atlanticrancher.com and field&stream.com. Please see photos for details.
