Black border and print, gold seal, and vignette of mining camp on hillside. Printed by Collier & Cleaveland, Denver. Deep folds, toning on right border. 7.5 x 10.5" The mines at Bullard's Peak in the Burro Mountains, about 16 miles east of Silver City, were discovered in 1881. The camp's name then changed to Black Hawk.
