Bullfrog Mining District. Clean. With the famous frog vignette. Incorporated under the laws of the Territory of Arizona. #2394 for 100 shares to G. K. Vaughn on June 24th, 1907. Signed by J. C. McCormack (president) . Orange border and embossed seal with black and purple printing. Top vignette of frog holding golden sceptre. Signed on reverse. According to The Mining Investor 1907, "work is being continued in the new Golden Sceptre tunnel with three shift of miners steadily driving into the hill." By April of 1908 they were leasing their property and I found little else after that. J. C. McCormick was a highly recognized Goldfield mining man. He had investments there and in Rawhide, Fairview, Ramsey, Transvaal, Gold Mountain and Rhyolite.
