1909 four-page letter to lawyers in Tonopah regarding "Chilson suit." Chilson was promised stocks "provided he made a success of the milling proposition at the mine", but the "mill was a failure" and "he was not able to make it otherwise." Also mentions that Chilson "is drunk the biggest part of the time lately and is continually making threats of what he is going to do to Vaughn, Bryan, and myself," so much that "our marshal [sic] took away a revolver from him ... he claimed he expected to use toward the settlement of this suit." Signed by Stickney (president). Great contents! Light toning and folds. Date 1909 Rhyolite, NV hwac 20205
